April 18th RECORD STORE DAY UPDATE plus Incoming....
Ahh yes...the highly anticipated Record Store Day and the mighty Spiral Scratch has some special surprises and whatnot in store. In case you're not familiar with what it's all about, visit RecordStoreDay.com for more info.
We have lots of Record Store Day exclusives (they will be in with our other stuff, marked with a small blue sticker. Limits apply, first come, first serve.
Also, just received word that Harvest Sum recording artists Besnyo will be playing live in the store (with a grill--veggie/non-veggie friendly foodstuffs) and have the acoustic Joseph Mulhollen, Mock Syringe and Alex Berkly will also perform starting at 1 pm.
Behind the counter, the man who keeps it together when we're falling apart...Bill Nehill.
We decided not to tip our hand, but make no mistake, we have a plethora of Record Store Day exclusives in addition to loads of new stock. We will tip our hand on that....see below for incoming product. One more thing...we've been sitting on is some great used stock in the back to make Record Store Day even more exciting...so theres that.

April 16--Incoming Update! Pre-Record Store Day Madness! New Stuff! Sales!
In the mid-90s wasteland of manufactured alt.rock, among other things we'd rather forget about, arose Dayton, Ohio's Guided By Voices who were channeling years of obscurity as a band into the triumvirate of their greatest works. Arguably, the final piece to their apex is the absolutely essential masterpiece, Alien Lanes. Building off their previous masterpiece, Bee Thousand, Guided By Voices made another perfect record with Alien Lanes. They would, of course, continue to make great albums with different members for years following--but it's hard to argue when they were at their peak. Matador Records, along with Bee Thousands predecessor, has also unleashed Propeller, which is now back in print in vinyl form--180 grams of perfection.
Matador also presents us with two other key 90s re-issues, Pavement and their landmark Slanted and Enchanted and Crooked Rain records. Both are heavily packaged on 180 grams of wax and come with free download codes, as does all of their releases. Don't forget the Pixies reissues, either.
